BIG SUGAR IS AMAZING

WOW! That’s really the only think I can say at first! That was such an amazing concert… I’d rank only Collective Soul as having a better live show out of all the bands I’ve seen live(and I’ve seen a few dozen excellent bands). Was it LOUD? Hell yes! LOUDEST? The loudest show I’ve ever seen…my ears are still ringing and my hearing’s only at about 60% right now.

I arrived at the Marquee a little before 9 and got in right away 🙂 I took a seat on a bar stool and sat there until the opening band started playing. Nearing the end of their set(they were actually really good! The band was called Trouser) I had to make a run to the washroom(3 draft goes through you far too quickly). Then I waded through the crowd as the band finished up.
By the time Gordie and the others took the stage I was right in front of him… with 3 people in front of me 😀 I slowly moved right until I was in front of Kelly, Garry and then Mojah… Eventually making it to the wall for the encore.. They played just about every song I expected and every last one of them was very close to perfect 😀 It was such an amazing show… I wish I could remember and describe every detail of it because it was simply incredible! And the best thing is that I get to see them again in less than 20 hours! That’s the best part, for sure! I’ll write more about this tomorrow, I know. 😀
