Green

Well, I was awake before 7 today, thinking I’d go to work… It was overcast and misty though, so I turned on the tv to check the weather. The guy doing the national weather said it’s be raining here… hours later and it’s one of the nicest days of the year! The moral of this story? Don’t trust the national weather forecast! 😛 I could have worked today but instead I’m stuck here with nothing better to do than walk around in the beautiful weather and take photos…. wait, I’m kinda glad I’m home now that I think about it. 😉
Just an hour ago I finished taking a bunch of photos(it was around 80) in the woods behind the house. It was nice to go back there and enjoy the forest for a while. It’s certainly a nice change from the city. I had to start a new photo album today… so from now on new photos will be going there. Over 60 from today were added. I’m on a photo taking kick, I guess. These ones seem to have turned out well, considering the subject.

  1. i love the pictures!

    i love/miss the woods.

we don’t have many woods here in arizona. we have lots of “national forests”, but the majority of them contain only scrub brush that grow as high as my waist.

which is why i raptured when i accidentally took a wrong turn in prescott and hit the national prescott forest, with REAL TREES! imagine my surprise!

      1. i remember when i was 18, how i almost moved out into a TRAILER with some friends. while i didn’t enjoy the thought of living in a trailer park again (had done it several times as a kid), it was right on the edge of some woods, with a little brooke separating the trailer from it. and one huge leafy tree in the back yard, too.

that was my idea of heaven.

        1. 😀 That sounds cool.
Very much like here except it’s a house… there’s a brook on 3 sides of the house, woods on all sides except the one facing the road… various trees in the front yard and mostly pine + spruce in the woods, along with some birch and maples. 🙂

          1. *swoons*

lessee.. i have a sublevel studio apartment, overlooking, or eye level, really, with a greasy parking lot… about half a mile away on the other side of the complex is a golf course, about 100 feet to the right is a busy street, directly in front of me are nicer apartments, and behind us is the slum lords i used to work for.
