Another day in the life of a grounds keeper š Mostly uneventful… tiring though positive… and another day of great weather…
I have to go see Spider-Man soon… Ilea, Ashley, Jeff and everyone else I talked to really enjoyed it. But it’ll be a while before I’ll even be near a theatre… Oh well… I have Spidey comics I could reread š lol It was interesting explaining to Ilea all about the comic this morning while she waited for her bus to arrive. It’s nice to be a former geek š I have the advantage of being able to have enough knowledge to be hip, yet not seem obsessive. š
I’m thinking of writing the entire first part of my short story in poetry… It’ll be fairly easy, not well written, but at least it’s getting the story out… and it might help inspire me more when working on the real, prose, version. One problem will be incorperating the various styles I’ve used.. the newer ones, which begin the story have a defined structure while the older ones, which make up the main story are less structured… Somehow it will work out… and it’ll give me a focus for my writing for a while that is easily achieved.
Today’s music is still a mix… though I’ve been listening to the Goo Goo Dolls a lot. I really enjoy their A Boy Named Goo and Dizzy Up The Girl albums a lot more now… I guess that when DutG was out the singles really overpowered it for me since I heard them on the radio constantly. Now I can notice the excellent songwriting better.
