It’s very warm out today… Over 20 C (70ish for you people on the crazy English system š ) is a bit higher than usual for this time of year. Yeah, I live in tropical Nova Scotia I burned a bit since I was working all day. š I got my pay for the first two weeks today… 50 cents less than $400. Not bad considering I didn’t work my usual 8 days. Hopefully the average will be closer to $500 for the rest of the summer. I need the money, for sure. š
I’ve been thinking of getting a domain name and paid hosting at the end of the summer… I’ll need to look around more but I’m thinking of going with webslum since it’ll be $10 US a month and I can host friends for just a buck more each. š So be nice to me and I just might give you a http://www.frozentruth.com/yournamehere address š If anyone knows of some other good hosts and domain registration services let me know.
I need to get a credit card soon as well. That’ll be fun. I almost did it last summer but decided against it for some reason. It’ll improve my credit rating at least(and allow me to get a paid LJ account + a domain name).
I need to get out of a writing slump. I have tons of ideas ready to be writen about but I just keep doubting my skills, I guess, not liking whatever I get down. I wrote about 1000 words of a new story and then decided I didn’t like it. That’s the fate my writings always faced a couple years ago, I’d always just get rid of them because I was’t satisfied…
I’m really considering writing an online comic soon if I can somehow find an artist who would be willing to draw it. I’m sure I could manage the balloons, text, simple paintshop stuff and that sort of thing but drawing just isn’t something I’m good at.
So, anyone want to draw my story? O;)
