Another hot day… I was smart and remembered my sunscreen though 😉
Lunch today was nice. Every thursday Lucy, Elenore and I get food from the local resturant… I got a “deluxe burger” and fries. It was good and better than my usual sandwiches and tv dinners. Then we had a great blueberry cheesecake for desert. I was also told that I have received a $1 an hour raise, because of a direct request of my employer. I was the only one too… It’s nice to know they think I do the job well, at least. 🙂 So I like my job. Just one more day until the weekend.
Lucy asked me to help her plant her new bushes, shrubs and trees on Saturday. Of course I said yes. After all, she does buy my lunch every week and is the relative I’m closest to. When we were driving by her place today on the way home her husband was outside raking rocks… it’s nice to see him being able to do things like that now that it’s been nearly two years since his accident. Life in a whelchair must be so hard, so it’s really inspiring how he has gotten through everything he has.
I’m talking to Ashley right now between disconnections :-/ She’s so wonderful… She’s been telling me about a dream she had of us. 😀
