Today was far too hot. I was under the sun for about 9 hours at work today so I’m well aquainted. After lunch I had to put sunscreen on 4 or 5 times and I still burned a bit. Overall the day was alright. Still no credit card, though. :,( If it’s not here tomorrow I’ll be slightly pissed.
Anyway, my parents are going away for the weekend to celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary, which was yesterday(They married 6 months after meeting and have been happily married ever since, which is quite cool, I think). That means I’ll have the house partially to myself. Ilea and her bf, Greg, will be here too but they will stay in one half of the house for most of the time. I’ll either be uploading my website or continuing to work on it. You know what I’d rather :P. I’d also like to read and write some. I have a box with my video archive here so I will no doubt watch something from there. A little nostalgia might be nice. If I have the time I’ll take some photos… I might even find the old tent and sleep under the stars since I won’t be able to talk to Ashley. I think that might be nice.
I hope fireflies appear soon… They are by far the best insects. I’ve noticed a lot of butterflies at work so far this year. Must be the abundance of flowers this time because there are about a dozen of the large yellow ones and a few white ones around all the time. Someday soon I’ll bring the laptop + webcam or digital camera to work so that I can have some photos of where I work… I’ll wait for all the flowers to be blooming first…
