Hair: …and then I think I’m crazy…

After my cake I went to my Comp. Sci. class and sat through a very boring class on binary numbers and conversion from hex and decimal. It was all things I had learned years ago in high school. CRS taught something useful for once lol

After that I walked up to Kara’s Alternative Day Spa for a hair cut. The last time I had my hair cut(January of this year) I had it done at the same place… it was nice so of course I deceded to return… (the fact that it is only a 10 minute walk from campus helped too)…

I walked in without an appointment and only sat for a couple minutes before someone came and took me upstairs for a cut. I just asked for a trim and she said she thought it’d be best if I got it cut just barely above my shoulders… I also had the layering cut too so it’s all one length… with my odd curling it will still retain some sense of the layers naturally though. While I was there A shampoo, quick cut, and straightening with the blow dryer later I was paying ($16) and then back on the street walking back to Dal to meet Nathan.

I think it turned out well… it’s noticably shorter and will just barely go into a ponytail now… I think it’s a bit shorter than it was cut last time but I don’t really remember… no split ends now, at least. It feels so odd for it to all be the same at the ends… so straight…

My first cut in 8 months and my second in 4 years… scary

      1. Well I know how big of a deal my hair is to me, so I sympathize. (Sometimes the only thing that makes me happy is the redness in my locks.)

        I love your haircut.
        🙂
