…Take a look inside your mirror eyes…

Still working…. blasting SANDBOX from my speakers.

A look at early notes for the essay:

1. The myth of divine kingship is the principle of Egyptian culture. Discuss.

Egyptian Myths:

p10 – “In addition, the New Kingdomtemples of Deir el-Bahri and Luxor reveal Amun deserting his mysterious confines in the sky for sexual union with the reigning queen of Egypt, thereby fathering the future monarch.”

p15 – lineage

p17 + 18 – 2 accounts of theogony – Amun entrusted Khnum to father rulers – marriage (brief sexual encounter) between Amun and the great royal wife. – birth of Queen Hatsheput – birth of pharoah Amenhotep III (1391 – 1353 BC)

Amenhotep III – “son of the sun god” & also an early manisfestation on Horus
kinship to creator god – Amun

Amun took on the guise of Tuthmosis IV to make himself appealing to the queen.

Khnum moulded King Amenhotep and Ka (eternal life force of the pharaoh) – implanted into the queen – was born with his Ka

Pharaoh then “hierarchised” or moved to second in command in the divinity

Amun assured that the heir to the throne of Egypt would be unassailable due to Amun’s DNA.
