Starting today my posts will likely be made in proxy, as I’ll write these whenever Ashley is sleeping or otherwise busy.
Monday, December 16, 12:50 am
Dad picked me up before 1:30, we packed the car and came home. Once here I just talked to Mom and Ilea for a while and then received my birthday presents and cards. My Aunt Lucy and Uncle Larry gave me a card with a bunch of scratch lotto tickets, and my Uncle Gerry and Aunt Sharon also gave me a card. From Mom, Dad and Ilea I got some new clothes and The Wallflowers‘s Red Letter Days. I likely won’t have the time to listen to it for a week though.
At 3:40 we left for the airport. We arrived at 4:30 and proceded to the gate where Ashley would arrive. We waited a long while, well past the arrival time… We eventually scratched the tickets and I won $50 + a free ticket… Almost two hours passed before a customs official came out to ask me questions about Ashley. That made me very nervous, because I was sure something had happened to her. Then a second customs official came out to ask me questions and told me she would be out soon. I waited a while more and then Ashley came out of the tinted doors of customs with her red luggage.
We hugged as soon as she came to me and I took one of her luggages. It was obvious that she was quite nervous. He flight was delayed landing and customs had been quite tough… going through all her stuff and taking a long time. We walked the length of the airport and got in the car, sitting close together, of course.
On the way home she was quite car sick so that made the trip less than enjoyable for her, but it was very nice none-the-less to be close to her at last and hold her hands.
Ashley is just a beautiful and wonderful in person as I could ever have imagined. She’s incredibly beautiful, and obviously every bit the wonderful person that I’ve fallen in love with. Ashley is completely perfect, there’s no other way to put it. Her eyes, hair, nose, lips, and every other feature are wonderful, I’ve been in heaven every moment with her. I’m infinitely thankful that I have her in my life. She is everything I’ve ever wished for or dreamed of. I love her to my very core, and I always will.
Once we were here I took her luggage downstairs to her room and then we ate some food at the dining room table. We went to her room after that. There we talked a lot and of course I’ll leave out the quiet romantic details.
When my Dad came home from hockey I introduced Ashley to him. My parents seem to like her well enough, she’s certainly very polite.
Since then we’ve been putting off sleep in order to spend time together… In fact, this entry was interrupted by just such an occurance.
It’s now 1:40. Thus ends the best day of my life.
