EVIL DICTATOR BUSH wants to undermine world authority in order to further the goals of his evil regime.
Luckily, Canada has now finally taken the first step in openly opposing his actions on the government level(it’s well known that most folks can see his evilness).
Much of the world doubts America’s motives as it barrels towards war with Iraq – a war that could lead to Washington fatally undermining the United Nations, Jean Chretien said Thursday in a speech to foreign policy experts.
“The price of being the world’s only superpower is that its motives are sometimes questioned by others,” the prime minister said. “Great strength is not always perceived by others as benign. Not everyone around the world is prepared to take the word of the United States on faith.” It marked the first time Canada expressed suspicion of the Bush administration’s motives for resorting to war to topple Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

Ahead of his crucial report to a high level United Nations Security Council meeting Friday, the top UN nuclear weapons inspector said inspections should continue for months and Iraq could still prevent war if it fully co-operates.
“We’re still in midcourse but we are moving forward and I see no reason for us to bring the inspection process to a halt,” Mohamed ElBaradei, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said in an interview.
ElBaradei will deliver his progress report to the Security Council on Friday on the 2½-month search for evidence of Iraqi nuclear weapons programs. His counterpart, Hans Blix of the UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspections Commission, will report on the hunt for Baghdad’s biological, chemical and missile programs.
The findings by Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei, coming as the United States prepares for war with Iraq, could bolster the U.S. case with allies or further divide the Security Council, badly split over whether the time has come to use force to disarm Saddam Hussein.

UNITED NATIONS – If there is a war in Iraq, the United Nations says up to 10 million people may need food and other forms of international aid.
Roger Normand with the New-York based Centre for Economic and Social Rights says Iraq has already been reduced to something akin to a vast refugee camp.
Millions of Iraqis live on food aid; the health system is fractured, malnutrition is rife, especially among children and a war would unleash a humanitarian crisis of exceptional scale and magnitude.
“There will be a humanitarian disaster in the event of war. The UN and relief agencies are not prepared to handle this disaster. The Iraqi population is far more vulnerable than it was in 1991,” he said.
