…say a prayer for release, from an endless summer…

More snow falls tomorrow. We’ve been having quite a cold and snowy winter here and I haven’t mentioned it as much as I should. There are feet of snow in the yard, and we’ve had a record-breaking winter… Snow.

I’m hoping Ashley will be on soon, though she did have a class tonight that runs rather late.

She called me twice today, so that was really great to hear her voice. I wish she could be here so much, though… I’m sleeping in the bed she slept in when she was here, and back in the place we spent a week together and it’s both comforting and inducing a great sense of longing to be with her. My words could not express how truly perfect it was to be with her… The next time just can’t come soon enough.

Stories mean more than people realize. I’ve been rereading a lot that I haven’t for ages, and it has been inspiring to relive some of those old tales, even though they seem rather quaint now. There is always truth in the myths that matter.

I don’t watch tv. I don’t use drugs, be they alcohol or tylenol. I’ve never had a headache. I can breath just fine. I see the good and the evil. I carry a knapsack in the real and the digital. I seek truth. I think.
