Well, today wasn’t that eventful… at 3 I left for a Microsoft conference on .NET It was really quite interesting and sounds promising. Free food and software made it worthwhile no matter what. 😉 The food was really great… cheese cake and chocolate cake! All free from Microsoft! A free copy of Visual Studio will also be sent to me in about a week. It was a short 5 hours, since I was with Nathan, Mark, Mike and their other friend who I can’t seem to recall the name of. Good times with good (though wacky) folks. And now I want VB.NET so I can make some fun stuff when I have free time again. Oh, I also received a .net pen. It’s nice. And it was 100% free. Free + Microsoft = good.
Last night I watched Return to the Bat Cave. It was the best tv movie of all time. I don’t usually watch tv, but I had to make an exception after seeing a few minutes of it… Funny stuff. Catch it if it is ever rerun.
Tonight I downloaded Michael Moore’s Stupid White Men in audiobook form… I’m looking forward to listen to it later… promises to be greatness!
I’ve also listened to some Tatu… They aren’t terrible from what I’ve heard… they even do a cover of “How Soon Is Now?” The whole pop gimick and coreography is annoying, but the music, whether written by them or not, is rather good… The playing up of the lesbian relationship seems a bit overdone, but mainstream music is full of far worse hetero images, so who cares? “All The Things She Said”, “30 Minutes” and “Can You See Me Now?” all seem good… But it’s still iffy… Their live performances seem just like any other pop act…

My verdict is still out on T.A.T.U as well, I saw them on MAD TV on Saturday and was just like “eh this song is kinda stupid and they’re just trying to make men buy their cd’s by kissing onstage”…I want to like them for some odd reaosn but yeah…

i loved the cartoon history of america…hehehehe
i taped a show that oprah did (because i knew that they were interviewing moore for the entire show) and they showed the cartoon history thingy! heheh – pure greatness – along with the rest of the movie…that guy that sleeps with a gun under his bed scared me though – freaky freaky eyes – actually – he was just FREAKY.
yeah, that one guy is a reason for gun control!
If there are no guns, then crazy folks like him won’t have one, bottom line.
