If anyone wants to go to the Godspeed! You Black Emperor concert Wednesday night at the Marquee for FREE then let me know. We have an extra ticket that he won. It can be yours simply by asking. Doors at 6, show starting at 7.
Then on Saturday I hope to go see Ashley MacIsaac at the very same venue. If anyone would like to join me I’d certainly appreciate company.
Tomorrow will be my final test in Classic Myth. I’ll need to study tonight, but I think it’ll be easy enough.
This weekend I’ve been cleaning and getting things ready to move out in 7 days. Wow, time is just flying by. I really need to find someone to sublet ASAP. My posters wil be coming off the wall this week… then I’ll have everything but my clothes and computer packed.
I’m loving the current Tom Cochrane single, “Pictures From The Edge” off the Trapeze double CD… it’s right up there with all his other wonderful songs, and may infact be my new favorite. He’s such a remarkable artist. I really hope he will play Halifax in the next year.
So much to do before and during this 4 month break. 😀 Just a month until Ashley may be here, though, and there’s nothing I could look forward to more than being with her! She may be moving here in September so there will be a lot of work to be done to make that happen. All will be worth it, of course, to be with her every day.
I have 4L of chocolate milk. I do believe I’m in beverage heaven. 😉
I have a bunch of things to pick up this week before moving out. Since I won’t be back to the city for quite a while I will need to stock up on some necessities.
I wish I could get my income tax money back already. I would really like to pick up an accoustic guitar before I leave the city for the summer. That way I could do some practicing each night until I move back to the city. Learning to play is one of my year-away goals right now. 😡

yeah, that should work. We actually have to pick up the tickets at the door so we could meet at the Marquee or somewhere downtown before going.
Sure. I don’t know which way you’re coming, but I’m coming up from barrington, away from spring garden. And bex (the girl who nneds the ticket) is probaly coming the other way. So maybe we could just meet at the Marquee then?
