Friday night my friend Mark called me and said he was coming to visit. This was surprising since he’d be coming all the way from Dartmouth just to see me.
He arrived around 10 with his girlfriend Janet, his friend Mike(who I’ve known for a while through Mark) and a couple of his other friends. Basicly they came it, joined me in the cave and randomly talked and looked at stuff. Much excitement was had by all as they experienced the boredom that is the sticks. They had a good ‘ole time with Ilea’s yellow puppet thing. Mark even became excited when he realized we both have the same futon and sheets. After 15-30 minutes they had to leave and they drove all the way back to the city.
It was so touching that they would drive all the way out here to see little old me. I actually worry for their sanity, both because they thought driving all the way here was a good idea, and because they had to experience the lack of civilization.
I’ve been trying to talk to Ashley as much as I can this weekend, but I have had to do a lot of work outside with my father and I’ve had to share the phone line with my sister.
I’ve been trying to get some reading done lately, and I’ve made an attempt to finish off the layout for the dot com so that I can focus on just content. I’m close, at least.
The book I’m reading currently is Tapping the Dream Tree by Charles de Lint. It’s wonderful and I suggest everyone go pick it up right now.
Tuesday I’ll be going back to groundskeeping. It’ll be nice, I think.
I’ll be writing an intro for Alisha’s book soon. It’s quite an honour that my disciple decided to ask me, and I, of course, want to write something worthy of her master piece.

you are so sweet to mention me! and to write something for “stillframes”! and since you are such a worthy savior, you get to see the rare Mr. Gingerbread Yummy Man make a breif LJ comment appearance!
😉

knowledge is power. Don’t be frustrated so much.
Remember that thousands of others have read the books and learned what you did. Change is on the way.
