While zombie-walking the mall I did decide to pick up a new CD. The Golden Age of Grotesque by Marilyn Manson. It’s quality stuff. On par with Holywood, I’d say. He’s holding up a mirror to America’s every side, and he’s one of the most intelligent people to don the crown of celebrity. He’s a master of puns and words that puts most poets to shame. Check this album out, for it’s pure quality.
I picked up said CD at CDnow, because the limited edition was $17.99. At ?Music World? it was $29.99. Truro’s prices are insanely high due to it’s middle of nowhere state.
The car makes me read and I’m nearly done the novel (Angel of Darkness). Quite a scary ride it is… Surprisingly in the same lines as Mr. Manson, an exploration of violence and corruption, an picture of where we’re headed if we don’t turn this driverless car around.
This long weak-end I’ll try to get something tapped in the creative vein. A story of some sort will flesh out. My own or that of everyone? Perhaps of a ghost or a future.

Hey Apollo. Isn’t GAOG brilliant? I’ve had a burned copy of it for 2 months now, and on tuesday i finally bought the real thing when it came out. I love this album. I would go as far to say that it is my favorite Manson cd. it’s really refreshing. I’m getting the matrix: reloaded sdtk. tomorrow with “This is the new shit” on it. That’s going to be the next single after “mOBSCENE” well happy listening!

I still really like Holywood, but I have only had this CD for a few hours.
Holywood in my opinion was one of their weakest albums. It has some good tunes, but I just wasn’t feeling it for some reason. However, the nobodies wormwood remix from the movie from hell is fucking awesome. Not to say that Holywood was bad in anyway, it was just not my favorite manson album. I did however listen to it everyday before school last year haha. I’m just really feeling where Manson has taken the band, and I really love every song on this cd. It’s all I’ve been listening to for the last 2 months. No joke. If at first some of the songs dont catch your ear, let them grow on you because the will!
