I miss all we never had

X2 was quite a good movie. Quite true to the spirit of the comics, and with some interesting twists on the original story. Rogue seemed a bit too much like Jubilee (ie the relationship with Logan), and she didn’t have the southern charm that made the original character so endearing to me. But it’s all quality. It was so easy to see the parallels between the X-Men story and the “real world”. The racism and extreme actions of governments recently are mirrored in it.

On the way to the theatre we stopped at SCHS… it’s hard to believe the highschool I went to will be demolished in a couple months. I have some great memories there, but those are perma-frost in my mind, and the loss of mere wood and paint doesn’t mean as much as people. I’m lucky enough to still have most of those people in my life in varying amounts.

Isn’t my Ashley beautiful?

  1. Glad you liked X2! What was your favorite part?

And yes, Ashley’s very pretty. +_+ I donno why she thinks they’re ugly pictures… they’re some of the best I’ve seen of her ^_^ And… are those freckles? It’s so cute! ^_^

    1. My favorite part was the ending with Jean, because now I can’t wait for the Pheonix film!

Yeah, she seems to always be getting better looking. I know I can’t wait to see her in person again, she’s even more so then. Yeah, those are freckles, and they are very cute.
