…now I must be leaving…

I raked the last blue berries I will for a long time tonight, and I can say that I’m glad it’s all over with full honesty. It’s the hardest work I’ve ever done, and also the lowest paying.

I learned tonight that my new external hard drive is waiting for me to pick up at the post office. That’s something to look forward to in the morning. It’ll be nice to have a drive to dedicate to holding my music collection.

My life has been mostly following the usual paths of working, eating, sleeping, writing and reading, but soon I’ll be returning to the city and my cozy cave.

My list of things to do soon reads as follows:

Mail out ebay items
List the remainder of my computer games on ebay
Prepare all my other things for sale
Convert all the links on my links page to Linkpool
Code Linkpool to sort by categories
Add some new plugins to my journal.
Do some tweaking with the layout of the journal.
Make a CD for Wanda
Figure out what to take with me when I return to my cave in the city of trees
Pack things for that return
Move all my music onto the new external hard drive when it arrives (tomorrow!)
Read a book
Order a strap and strings for “Mr. piece of wood”
Make CD’s for my disciples

I’ll be running against the most powerful rivers, and I will revel in the challenge and the true purpose of my compassion.

[Music: Tori Amos – Strange (Radio Version)]
