Crash?

My computer somehow got a virus (remarkably just after I installed a new virus scanning program and updated it) which rendered all my programs unusable and has made my day full of the unpleasant task of backing up my data and installing Windows ME (because I don’t have a copy of XP with me).

It’s not a total loss, as I was able to back up everything important on the external hard drive, but it’s still an unpleasant turn of events. It will be another 2 weeks before I can have this computer back in top shape again.

Entries will likely be fewer until then.

When I return to the city I may begin to use Voice Monkey. It a great tool for making voice journal entries. I could phone up with my cell phone from anywhere and leave a message. It’s currently free, but I’d be willing to pay the under $10/month to be able to use it on a daily basis. Would anyone want to hear my voice?
