Fiction To Truth

Fiction to Truth — 12 September 2003

If you could suddenly find out that one work of fiction was actually true, what book would you select?
Would you choose a sci-fi epic or a romance novel? A political farce? A parody of pop-culture? Why? How would it change the real world?

I would certainly choose Charles de Lint’s Newford stories, because the premise of magic and such community as those books hold has a great appeal to me. Because of their subtle nature, the things held in his books would not obviously change the real world, but would allow greater enjoyment of it and bring back a sense of mystery to our lives.
