We’ve spent another day without power. The usual activities occurred, but there were some signs that things may soon be back to something like normal. Many streets around us have electricity, and the removal of debris has continued. The most promising development, surprisingly, was the reopening of Halifax Shopping Center, where Nathan, Greg and I made use of the public internet spot to charge our laptops and phones a bit in the evening. That means I will be able to call Ashley tomorrow.
While at the shopping center I was able to go online to check some e-mails and read some websites. On Live Journal I learned that Sascha is doing well and to also let Ashley and my other friends know that I am well, but unsure of when I will have the chance to return.
I go now to sleep and I pray this will truly be the last night without power.
