Tuesday
It was a nice day. My folks came into the city and took me out to a pre-birthday dinner. It was a pleasant meal and was the first time I’ve been able to sit down and eat with my parents and my sister Ilea since October. Ilea gave me a birthday present that was quite unexpected. She gave me a rather large ceramic Buddha, which I really appreciate. For now it’s sitting on top of the television in the living room, but will likely gain a place here in my room. I was also given a card from my Aunt Lucy and Uncle Larry, that you can see above.
Five and a half hours remain until my twenty-first year is over.
Wedneday
It has been a rather uneventful birthday for me. In my e-mail this morning was a nice virtual card from Mandy that started the day pleasantly. I checked the mail in the afternoon to find two nice birthday surprises, a card from Ms. Yuko Sato from Japan, and a card for a free rental at Video Difference.
In the late afternoon I went walking towards downtown. I had several errands to run, and I returned home with my free video, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and a game rental Smash Bros. Melee. I must find time to enjoy both in the coming week.
