Digital Napsack 029

Here’s another small assortment of papers from my not so distant youth. First and second are the front and back of a drawing I did while I was in school for an art class. It’s a rendering of a sun based in part upon Tolkien’s The Silmarillion. Third through fifth are scans of a brochure for Hidden Falls, one of my favourite places to visit here in Nova Scotia. It’s a beautiful place and the resident artist made some wonderful painted ceramic crafts. The other scans are from a trip to Ottawa, Canada’s capital city, when I was in grade 10. It was a surprisingly awakening few days and actually spawned the name Frozen Truth through the story that came fully formed to my mind on the trip home. In the photo you can find me between the speaker of the house and my NDP MP, Mr. Peter Stoffer. I took quite a liking to the gargoyles that can be found on the parlament buildings in Ottawa, so I returned home with a good number of small gargoyle images.
