My name is Frankie. I’m Lloyds son n law and the Webmaster of Sandbarmusic.
Lloyd just informed me that there are some issues concerning your
purchase of 45 Strings by Tuesdays.
First off i’d like to let you know that Lloyd is NOT avoiding you or
anything fishy like that.
I belive the last you two conversed about that Lloyd was going to send you
off the disc after he replenished his stock, and that was to happen
early last week after he got back from Toronto.
Unfortunatly, he collapsed at a dinner meeting in Toronto, he’s been in
a TO hospital ever since. On the bright side we’re hoping he’ll be home
late next week.
Please don’t let this delay in your order deflate your trust in
Sandbarmusic. Lloyd, as soon as he was able to think about more
practical concerns asked me to get in touch with you as 1st order of
business. If I had an unopened copy, I’d send it to you.
Lloyd will be in touch with you as soon as he is able to. I’m goin’ to
have to ballpark 2 weeks.
We VERY much appreciate your business.
If you have questions i can answer don’t hesistate to contact me in the
meantime.
Maybe we can arrange a mp3 file transfer of the album to get you by
until the hardcopy comes? we could do it via msn messenger. Let me know.
Frank
I’d ordered the CD a couple weeks ago with two other Sandbar releases, both of which arrived in a couple days. Lloyd was very upfront about the delay and I’ve been happy to wait. I’m so very impressed and dumbfounded that the company would think to worry about such a small detail as my one CD when such an unpleasant event had happened. That’s so very above and beyond. Maritimers, go figure.
Please go visit Sandbar Music and listen to some of the artists featured there. I highly recommend Tuesdays, Eyes For Telescopes, Dan Currie and Pat Deighan. The folks there are very upstanding and the music second-to-none.
