My mother, sister and aunt visited me for a while this afternoon. While they were here they asked me to scan a photo of my late grandfather that they wanted to share among our family. I think it’s quite a nice shot of him so I’ll share it here. I present to you my paternal grandfather, Earl Lemmon.

Just that he looks very strong, like he could take care of any trouble that came his way.
Alright. He was always a very gentle and funny man, so I don’t often think of his strength as being one of his… strengths. He was a very resourceful and principled man, however and part of that created a gentle toughness that I found admirable in the short time I knew him and in what I’ve learned in the 17 years since.
