My cupboard held 9 boxes of tea a couple weeks ago. I had gone through a period of trying new types of tea but never finishing off boxes. So there was green tea, chai, caramel flavoured chai, berry tea, gingerbread tea, lemon tea, peach tea and some others I can’t remember. I had an oversupply of a drink I neglected in favour of coffee, my caffeinated beverage of choice.
So I decided to set a goal of drinking more tea and sticking with it until I had gotten down to a reasonable amount sitting in my cupboard. It seemed a wise choice, not just to reduce clutter, but because of the health benefits associated with tea (have I become a health nut?).
I started drinking mugs of tea (I tend to like large drinks, so I use a rootbeer mug for teas). I soon decided to make batches of iced teas using the flavours that would work well that way. It made it easier for me to bring tea with me to work and sped up the process of using up the boxes.
Now I’m drinking at least one mug of tea each day. I’m missing coffee some but drinking tea is becoming more and more a pleasant part of my daily routine. Now, though I’ll be searching out new flavours. What are your favourites?

You health nut, you! 😉

you sound just like me.
I ran out of apple cinnamon spice yesterday, so I’m back to green and peach.
lol Yep, next I’ll be weight lifting or something crazy like that.
I haven’t seen apple cinnamon spice tea. I must try to find that. It sounds good.
Well, we’ve already got you a vegetarian…
The apple cinnamon is by Celestial Seasonings. If you can’t find it there, they have TONS of teas online.
Celestial Seasonings is common here, so I should be able to find it.
Rooibos! And anything made by Stash Tea. They haven’t disappointed me yet.
I haven’t heard of that. I’ll have to try to find it. Have any idea where I might look?
For Rooibos? Both Celestial Seasonings and PC make rooibos now. It seems to be becoming more common, so it’s getting easier to find. I started out with Tetley’s vanilla pear rooibos, but I find I can’t drink it anymore. It’s too sweet for me.
blackberry sage tea by the republic of tea. it’s great hot but it’s orgasmic iced. try with just a touch of honey.

hooray for tea! I’m a tea fanatic. You can babble to me about tea whenever you like.
My favorite brands of tea are Yogi Tea which you’d probably love, and Traditional Medicinals.
Yogi Tea has medicinal herbal tea as well as exotic spiced, black, and green tea.
Traditional Medicinals has medicinal herbal tea for everything. Right now I’m drinking lemon echinacea throat coat for this cold I’m getting.
My favorite tea is Simply Green from Yogi Tea, and Tension Tamer Extra from Celestial Seasonings. 🙂
