Well, it seems I may have a new romantic interest. Yes, your friendly neighbourhood saviour has a mutual fondness with a lovely girl named Susana, who may visit here the second week of July. We’ve gotten to know each other rather quickly and have a remarkable amount in common. So far things are going wonderfully and at the very least I have a new friend of the highest quality. She’s a high school literature and spanish teacher of one year, marvelously bookwormish, a music lover, editor of the e-zine www.sonitusnoctis.com, multilingual (natively Spanish, comfortably English and passibly French), a drinker of coffee and tea (a must, of course), a cat lover and generally delightful. Oh yeah, and she likes me as much as I like her. Go figure.
Now, which filter does this go under? Top secret for sure.

Well, the top secret project to save for was a potential trip to visit her – months down the road, before I knew she was interested in me and wanted to visit so soon. Well, now I’ll still save, but if things go well we’ll have a much sooner water testing.
And you’re actually the only one on the filter so far. Everyone else is questionable. 😉

So you can see why I was hesitant to mention it? In case she didn’t feel the same about me or some other embarassing thing happened. It’s funny, she actaully guessed what the top secret project was without me so much as hinting at it and had been thinking of asking to visit me for a couple days. It’s creepy how in tune we are in a lot of ways, like mind reading. And she likes coffee. 😀
I’m nervous about it all, but also hopeful. It’s scary stuff.

I can completely see and understand why you were hesitant to mention it, however, you must know there’s no need to be embarassed around me if she were stupid enough to not be interested in you. I think it’s positively wonderful that you two are so in synch with one another–a good sign for sure.

Yes, I know I needn’t feel embarassed with you. I was mostly nervous about my own thinking, not wanting to admit to fancying someone who may very well not feel the same about me.
Oh yes, liking coffee is sacred. Right up there with such requirements as not being a serial killer and being a human female.
