I’m not sure I remember how that looked. I’m always impressed by the range of colorings you’ve had.
There are three photos currently in the gallery in which you can see the coloring to which I am referring. Two taken right afterwards and one a few months later, in mid-April.
Oh, I do like those a lot. 🙂
Did I ever send you the Dolly Parton cover of CS’s “Shine”?
She is very cute. I hadn’t thought of her as elven, but I suppose I can see that. Yeah, being a cat lover is a must.
the way her ears stick out of her hair is so very elven. her face isn’t elven in the typical way you think elven. maybe more of like… a pixie or faerie in the face, but my first thought was “elf! cat!”. cat lover is very much a must. i love dogs, but it’s actually more important for me that someone is a cat lover because i must have at least one. i totally dig how she has her photos up on the wall, too.
she looks like the type of person who comes up to me at work and is so positive about everything and very polite and makes conversation, but nothing creepy. i love those people, they make my day so much better.
I suppose that is so. I’ve mostly seen photos with her hair over her ears, so I guess my impression was influenced by that initial view.
I’ve never had a cat of my own but I’ve always been fond of them. Dogs don’t appeal to me very much.
Her room. Agh. The colors of the walls… I LOVE that. I never thought dark blue could be so comforting.
She is indeed elven looking (coming from an elf-type herself!). She’s got a very kind smile. She looks honest. 🙂
I don’t mean to sound like I’m stirring crap up, but I am just a curious person and am prone to asking questions, so forgive me – What happened with Ashley in particular? ^^;
It’s strange. She and I have so many synchronicities, even little things like the color of our bedroom walls. When I still lived with my parents my walls were a very similar blue. If you ignore my “I’d just woken up” self you can see it here.
Well, I’m not sure exactly what you’d like to know about Ashley. Last week her mother called me and we talked about how poorly Ashley has been doing and how her obsession with me has likely been harmful. I agreed with her that I shouldn’t have Ashley visit here as that might harm her efforts to get better and told Ashley as much, that I couldn’t see her until she’s made real progress at getting better. If it will help her I’ll also cut ties of friendship as well. I don’t want to abandon her, but I don’t think our relationship has been good for her of late or helped with her recovery.
Synchronicities are the best. 🙂 When I first met my James, I was going ape-nuts over all the similar things we had in common. IT was like we’d led parallel lives–even our PASTS were similar. it was eerie. 🙂
Nice pictures on your walls in that picture! I love art like that.
And, i understand about the stuff with ashley. I read on her journal as well and it’s sad to see her like this. I remember just a few years ago she was much more healthy in weight and i thought she looked BEAUTIFUL. i’m not saying i don’t think she’s beautiful now, it’s just not natural for her body type, and it’s not healthy. I know she has the power to help herself, she just needs to realize it. It probably would take a big shake like what you mentioned for her to get to helping herself…
Yes, synchronicities are wonderful. I haven’t often had them, so it really is quite exciting. I really hope things continue to go well, because I do feel strongly about Susana. It’s strange that it’s happening so quickly, though; I definitely didn’t look for or expect something like this.
I really do hope Ashley will get help. I care about her and love her very much, even though I can’t see us together romantically.
I love the clothespins! That is such a cool way to put up photos!
Synchronicity is great and I love having things in common with people I care about, but lately I find the things Hector does differently from me to be the most endearing. ♥
Yes, there of course needs to be a balance of similarities and differences. The cultural differences have been the most obvious so far and the easiest to explore, but also very interesting.

i can not get over how cute she is. she’s like one of those perfect little elf statues with the cute little round noses. and OMG cat!
Oh my gosh–you hit the nail on the head __catchme. She does look a bit elfish–in a GOOD way.
I love the red in her hair. She’s definitely one of a kind. The sign is cute.
Damn, why did y’all think think of her as elven and I didn’t? I mean, I’m the one who grew up reading fantasy books, complete with elves.
I definitely like her hair. The red and black mesh well.
I liked mine a lot when it was predominately black.
