Thanks for All The Happy Little Trees!

The final addition that will make the Nintendo Revolution unstoppable:

Game Title: The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross

Developer: AGFRAG Entertainment Group. According to an e-mail from own Joseph Hatcher, everything is currently being moved from San Jose, CA to Kodak, TN.
History with Nintendo: None
About the Game: The game was announced in March 2006 press release by Bob Ross, Inc. The game is currently scheduled for release on the PC, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Revolution. The game is still in the design phase.
Using the Controller: Currently unknown, but we are predicting a scenario where one uses the controller as a paintbrush (or a spray can). Said Hatcher, “to remain competitive with our products, we can’t share that information at this time. Control will be intuitive and easy. Watch the Bob Ross TV shows, and you’ll start to put two and two together.”
Release Date: Unknown; no publisher has been announced. Any interested publishers and / or investors should contact AGFRAG at jhatcher [at] agfrag.com.

  1. that rules. do you have a link to that? i have friends who would be interested. like you and witheredseason said, he always seemed a very sweet man, and i’m glad to see his memory honored with something so interesting and unusual.

    1. Depending on how well done the game is, I may actually buy it.
man I totally want to shake the controller in the air at the tv and draw a tree, then have a voice clip of Bob Ross saying “And now we have a happy little tree here.”

    2. No, it iz lwgit. Part of Nintendo’s goal for Revolution is to bring non-gamers into the fold.

Bob Ross is an icon to many of us, so I imagine his legacy would have plenty of call in many circles.

      1. I just hope they don’t cheapen the Revolution by offering “entry-level” games. The hardcore gamers might turn away from the entire system, which would probably crash Nintendo’s profits…Of course, Nintendo really was never FOR the harcore “ZOMG I BEAT THAT GAME IN LIKE 10 HOURS! I RULZORZ!” gamer…
