My favourite Spider-Man stories have always been ones the focused on his marriage to Mary Jane and the balance of his work as a superhero with that relationship. Renew Your Vows returns to a married Spider-Man and is very successful when it highlights Peter Parker’s relationships with his wife and daughter. The parts of the story that contain super heroics are a bit lacklustre, but overall the book is very enjoyable.
