Age of Apocalypse follows up the classic 90s line of comics that reinvented the X-Men in a dangerous alternative timeline. It’s a well-told dystopian story of a group of mutants stuck between two genocidal visions. This new series is accessible to new readers but is clearly an homage to the original books.
