You Must Remember This is a wonderful narrative history podcast that is masterfully good at telling the stories of Hollywood in ways that both educate and entertain. Among highlights are accounts of “The Short Lives of Bruce and Brandon Lee”, “Raquel Welch, From Pin-up to Pariah”, and “Frank Sinatra in Outer Space”.
What cemented the ‘cast as one of my favourites, though, was a 12-part series on “Charles Manson’s Hollywood”. It explores the context around Manson, going deep into the lives of Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski, the other stars who were tangled in his schemes and into the lives of Manson and his strange followers. It was an impressive arc.
