Gary and the Nova Scotia NDP are setting out a path in opposition to the backwards policies of the Liberal government, including legislation to prevent the further privatisation of health care, introducing a grocery security act to allow all Nova Scotians to buy food from grocery stores and farmers markets rather than relying on food banks and to increase the provincial minimum wage to $15. It’s an uphill battle, but that has always been true for the push toward stronger communities and a province that puts equality at the core of its values.
