This is my first year spending Christmas in the Philippines. We’re staying with Tonet’s family, there are gifts under a tree and it’s not so different from celebrations in Canada.
In public there are many decorations, and the malls are full of them too. Just like home today on Christmas Eve all stores are packed, and getting groceries was a challenge.
I don’t miss the snow at all.
