Today we stopped in at Fortune Doughnut for the first time. The store has a great aesthetic, which isn’t surprising since it is run by the same folks as Freak Lunchbox. The doughnuts are breadier than the gems at Vandal Doughnuts, but the two vegan options, pineapple and gummy bears, and coconut and chocolate tasted good otherwise. The shop is still new, so maybe they’ll perfect their dough over time, but for now Vandal will be my first choice.
