Sweet Witches takes clear inspiration from Rod Land, my favourite arcade game. Characters are expressively animated and really pop off the screen, just like Rod Land, and the game play features magical ladders and attacks that stun enemies. It’s clearly a love letter to that classic game and it delivers a genuinely fun experience.

Sweet Witches is available for Nintendo Switch and is on sale at the moment for $5.99 CAD / $4.99 USD.
