I finally got to continue reading Mark Waid and Javier Rodriguez’s ambitious History of the Marvel Universe. Issue 4 takes on some of the most important and most ridiculous crossovers and events with a lot of finesse. The single-page recaps of big events are often stunning and there is a lot of momentum through this issue that would definitely be disorienting to a reader not familiar with the stories. If you want a sweeping telling of everything that has happened in the Marvel Universe, this series is still a great introduction or refresher.
