Metroid: Zero Mission is a much better way to play through the story of the original Metroid, and was always a favourite Game Boy Advance game for me.

Ahead of the release of a new Metroid game later this year, I’ve decided to play through the story of the 2D Metroid games again before Metroid Dread is released. Metroid: Zero Mission is a much better way to play through the story of the original Metroid, and was always a favourite Game Boy Advance game for me. Playing through this time was a joy, with a heady mix of relying on muscle memory and surprises when I had forgotten certain moments.
