Ryan Estrada put together a super fun illustrated mashup of Winnie the Pooh and Bambi to celebrate both original books finally joining the public domain and released it as a narrated video. He’s doing a fundraiser to raise money for Adopt-A-Classroom and producing 3 ebooks, 3 audiobooks and 3 video storybooks for those who donate.
On January 1st, 2022, A.A. Milne’s book “Winnie-The-Pooh” fell into the public domain . I wanted to be one of the first people to take advantage of that and create my own book with the characters. I got so excited, I made three! A collection of three rhyming picture books. In one of them, I also introduced a new character to the Hundred Acre Woods. “Bambi, a Life in the Woods” by Felix Salten also fully fell into the public domain this year, so one of the books doubles as a followup to that story!

It’s a wonderful story about anxiety that makes clear it can be felt by anyone by going through the “bothers” of the characters of the Hundred Acre Wood.
