I like to track the books I read, though, so I was excited to find an alternative in BookWyrm that is decentralized, non-profit and part of the Fediverse.

I stopped using Goodreads back in 2018, in part because it’s an Amazon company and I wanted to keep some distance from it and because the interface was clunky. I like to track the books I read, though, so I was excited to find an alternative in BookWyrm that is decentralized, non-profit and part of the Fediverse.

I signed up with BookWyrm.social and I will be tracking the books I read at @apollo@bookwyrm.social. I was able to import the books I tracked through Goodreads easily and will slowly update it to include the books I have read since 2018. I’ve added my first book finished in 2023 and will try to keep updating it.
