ElfQuest was an important comic series for me growing up; I collected hundreds of single issues and then collected volumes. It’s still something I like to reread.
Most of the ElfQuest material has been available to read free online for years at the official website, and now they’ve updated the site to use an embedded PDF instead of images. It’s a little more clunky, but viewing the page source gives a PDF url to download each issue.
The latest episode of Book Club for Masochists covers moving with books and it reminded me of my last move with more than a handful of paper books. I moved to Waterloo, Ontario with a large collection of books but returned home having gotten ebooks or scanned the ones I wanted to keep and gave away the rest. Now I try to have fewer than half a dozen books around even though I haven’t moved further than down the street in a decade.

Ahead of El Hijo del Vikingo’s highly anticipated AEW match tonight against Kenny Omega, Impact Wrestling smartly shared a match from 2020 against TJP. Three years of seasoning later, and Vikingo is even more impressive (see the second video from earlier this year in GCW). He still has a bit of hesitation in matches that hopefully working with the best wrestler in the world can help him overcome.
