Sagala

I’ve been exploring komiks from the Philippines since February and Tori Tadiar’s Sagala is one of the strongest for mashing up the history of the Philippines with genre tropes. This is a fantasy, a western, and something entirely fresh. The intrigue, the art, and the characters all add up to something really special.
