We woke up on our second day in BC in a tent at Camperland RV Resort & Cabins. A bear had found some poorly stored garbage by the dishwashing and washroom building and scattered them during the night.
The campground is attached to Bridal Falls Waterpark, so we spent time in the morning and early evening there. Celestine loved the shorter waterslides and other water activities. Long lines kept me from going down the ones that seemed most exciting aside from a couple runs. I got in a slide down The Black Hole, their dark slide, and that was thrilling.

I’m always looking for murals, and the campground had a few. The nature scenes drew my eye first.

The mini golf course at the campground was a fun diversion during the afternoon but the kids tired of it quickly.

Next we were off to the namesake of the community, Bridal Veil Falls, which is surrounded by a beautiful park that has an entrance at the edge of the campground. It’s a magnificent waterfall and well worth the hike to see it up close. I had to get in the waterfall selfie, of course.

Closing out the day by the mountain was calming.
