British Columbia Adventures Day 5

For our fifth day in British Columbia we headed to VanDusen Botanical Garden and Granville Island, two spots we missed during our last visit to Vancouver.

For our fifth day in British Columbia we headed to VanDusen Botanical Garden and Granville Island, two spots we missed during our last visit to Vancouver.

VanDusen Botanical Garden was a wonderful experience. We had to hurry through it to meet up with Tonet’s sister and nieces, but could have spent hours more marveling at everything to be seen. The hedge maze, many sculptures, and extensive variety of plants all impressed.

We then headed over through downtown Granville Island. Celestine most enjoyed the arcade and I enjoyed taking in murals, spotting Snowy from Tintin, and taking in oddities like the lively birdhouses at one shop. My eye was caught by a mural by Atheana Picha that I found particularly striking.

We ended the day with a stop at Jollibee, which has the best fast food mascot.
