I put together a simple salad for my lunches this week, throwing in full cans and jars of kidney beans, chickpeas, sauerkraut, olives, and pickles, all seasoned with Magic Sarap, pepper, and Tajin.
I had to run an errand near Churned, so I tried a new ice cream flavour, Rhubarb Ginger. It was stellar, as always. It’s so nice to have incredible, local vegan ice cream here and I’m bringing home another to try later.

We went to the SailGP races in the Halifax Harbour this afternoon. We found a spot on the waterfront where we could see a good portion of each race. The sponsorships and founder are unsavory, but foiling catamarans and their crews are so impressive. The wind was weak today, so the first race was nullified because of being too slow but subsequent races picked up.
