…running hard, standing still, I can’t speak but I’ve got my free will, my hands are shaking…

I went to class and tried to absorb as much as possible in that last class before the quiz/test/exam tomorrow night. Then I got on a bus and went down to the HMV.
I sought out the new single from Tom Cochrane, “Just Like Ali”. It’s a benefit single for the Parkinson Society of Canada. The song is really great, and a worthy tribute to the strong advocate for Parkinson research and treatment, Muhammad Ali. Juno Award winning artist Tom Cochrane was inspired to write this song after witnessing both his father and Muhammad Ali’s struggles with Parkinson’s disease. Tom says, “My father and Ali are two of my only real heroes. Believe me, it can be sad to witness your heroes suffer; but the way in which they attempt to champion over this, their most difficult struggle, only adds to their heroism.” The second song is also on of Tom’s best, “Beautiful Day”, from X-Ray Sierra. Go pick up this single if you can(http://www.hmv.com is the place to get it online) not only for the great song, but to support a great charity!
After finding that I picked up the Scarlet’s Walk Limited Edition that I had ordered and bought both… I then went to wait for the bus back to Dal. I opened up the SW box and looked at all the extras that came with it. The only disappointment was that the charm I got was a purse. Yes, Apollo got a purse. lol
I bussed back and went to Classic Myth class…. Sat through that and then came home.

I arrived here a little after 5. I came online and talked to Ashley for a while before starting to make dinner. I made some pasta that was surprisingly good for something I had made myself. I talked to Ashley some more… then I talked to Sascha for a while. We’ve been chatting it up like mad lately. It’s been nice talking to him a lot again.

          1. Oh Sascha–I’m just poking fun at the stereotype that there IS something wrong with a man having a purse.

I think it’s wonderful he has one now.
            All men should have purses.

            Do you have one?

Oh….and everyone should hug their streetlights too.
            Right Apollo?
            😉

          2. Streetlights need hugs more than ever in these troubled times!
Sadly, there are no streetlights near Sascha who need hugs, because he would surely show them much love.

          3. hehe I know you were just poking fun at the sterotype. If my dad still had his purse I would love to carry it. Then if someone made fun of me for having it I could hit them with it. Of course I would carry a brick in it. I think Loony Toons are getting to me.
