Nymphet0: WillDon316: Well, it is a bit sketchy to have a “boyfriend” who you “love so much,” especially considering that you have never met him AND he lives in a completely different country.

Nymphet0: I guess it may seem awkward to be saying that..but I truthfully mean it with all my heart. I also will be seeing him next week, so that won’t be much of a problem anymore.

Nymphet0: WillDon316: Well, for a girl in her freshmen year, just getting used to a new life and trying to meet new people, it seems very much out of the ordinary to be tied down by such a “relationship,” especially one of such a nature.
WillDon316: From the way your LJ reads sometimes, it seems like you turn down quite a few opportunities to just go out, have fun, and enjoy yourself, because you would rather spend the time talking to this guy.
Nymphet0: well, we’ve had this ‘relationship’ since last year. It’s not something I just walked into on purpose it just happened and we have strong feelings about each other. Even though it can be a little disappointing sometimes.
WillDon316: And, I have seen it happen time and time again, in both high school and college… people refusing to grow and move on with their lives, because they have something back home or wherever.
Nymphet0: I do those things..maybe not enough, but I do enjoy my life right now

WillDon316: Well, I say so, because I have seen it countless times, and I have done it myself back in high school.
WillDon316: That’s why I usually try to help those who I see in similar situations.
Nymphet0: Maybe that’s true somewhat..but I am trying to work toward my future. Don’t assume everything by reading my entries.. I hardly ever put every single thing that’s happening in my life down. Basically, what I put in there is random things that happen throughout the day..not everything.

WillDon316: My advice would be to just have fun and do your own thing, rather than worrying so much about some long-distance relationship that has come about over the internet.

WillDon316: You seem to be more concerned with finding and maintaining love, at such a young age, which my guess would be a psychological and self-esteem issue, than with just having fun and enjoying the college experience.
Nymphet0: Well, it’s not like I’m going to shelter myself from the world because I have a long distance relationship..I don’t see why you think that. I have made plently of friends, and I am trying my best at college. I guess you wouldn’t understand why I feel this way, why I spend time and talk to him everyday. He is a real person.

WillDon316: Like I said, I never want to see people follow others’ mistakes, especially when they are quite aware they exist.
Nymphet0: I don’t think my relationship is a mistake..nor that it will become one. I know its hard to see that, but unusual things do happen for a reason
Nymphet0: WillDon316: It is obvious to me that you are an intelligent girl, and I can tell that you know exactly where I am coming from and see exactly what I am trying to say.

Nymphet0: yes, I understand..I just find it odd that someone I don’t even know is trying to lecture me about relationships.
WillDon316: However, it is hard for you to see some of the things, because of your position in everything. Your vision is clouded, because you see things the way you want to see them, the way you want them to be, which is always the biggest mistake you can make.
WillDon316: You need to learn to listen to and trust in those on the outside, who can see clearly what is going on, and who just want to help.
Nymphet0: I have put my faith in this relationship, and thats all that matters. I do realize the consquences of being this close to someone who lives that faraway.

Nymphet0: Maybe you’re actions weren’t that good in the past.. if you think something is going to happen to me by visiting my ‘long distant boyfriend’ next week..I can understand, but I know him enough to know that he is a real person.

I admit I can be wrong about some things but I do know that I am right about this. I really do.
