I was lucky enough to have Greg bring in the mail today and hand me another Christmas card. This time it was from a Ms. Sarah Perry, who is also known as GameCat in Poe Land. It was a pleasant surprise, though she had asked me mere minutes earlier if it had arrived yet. She wrote the following in the card:
Greetings Sir Ninja,
Here’s hoping that you have a wonderfully psychotic holiday! Make some snow angels for me and I shall drink plenty of mulled cider in your honor!
*heart* Sarah
Otherwise today has been quite usual except for one addition to the local dynamic. Greg’s friend Ben, who I remember from high school, is visiting for a couple days and has made camp in the living room. Ben’s a decent fellow, but far geekier than even my two roommates.
I did manage to finish scanning all but one of my little grey photo albums. Those photos scanned today should be appearing for your viewing pleasure soon. Concert photos and high school memories are joined by a couple photos from my distant youth, so it’s an interesting mix of history.
With luck and some spare change I may be seeing this concert:
The Marquee Club:
Friday January 23 & Saturday January 24
Q104 and The Coast magazine
present : Sam Roberts
+ special guest Matt Mays and El Torpedo
$20 in advance, $25 at the door.
