Presenting Python, C++, and computer science concepts as comics works very well in this case. There’s humour that softens some challenging concepts and the whole thing hangs together very well. I would have loved to have this when I studied computer science. There are some Stanford-specific bits, but this is suitable for anyone interested in programming languages.
