Disappear

I just thought I’d take the time to tell you all about a great artist from here. His name is Bruce Guthro. He’s a really great singer/songwriter. I generally avoid country music as much as possible, but he is the only one that has managed to actually make me want to listen to him. I saw him live a few years ago when he played in Middle Musquodobot. He was impressive then. The reason I was there is because my mother lived on the same street as his family when she was growing up and had been good friends wth his sister…. So she’d gotten his CD and really liked it….. I have to admit that even I, with my large dislike for country back then even enjoyed it. So go check out his music and his site by clicking in the image below:

  1. Brucie!! *Ahem* I spent one luverly summer beeing draged all over Cape Breton Island to go to music festivals, and I think he was at everyone ^^. Still, for a girl who can’t stand country, and can’t stand celtic music, he was pretty good. So in short: I agree, give Bruce a try.

    1. Yeah, Bruce is quite cool. I wish I was lucky enough to be dragged to music festivals…. I need to get back to CB again sometime soon. Maybe I’ll convince my parents to take a trip there to visit my mother’s relatives and friends next summer… hmmm…. It’s nice to know someone else here has heard Bruce.

      1. Well I got dragged to the festivals the year I was in grade nine, when I pretty much hated my parents for moving me to Sydney ^^ . Of course I grew to love it, and than they moved me back to Halifax . . . Still, Bruce is cool, and CB rocks, and rocks hard. Except for the Tar Ponds, that was kind of crappy. And I could have lived without “The Highland Village”.
