Ashley left this morning… We woke up at 8 and left for the airport by 10… We checked in with her luggage and she got her ticket.. then we waited by the entrance to the gates until she had to go in. After that my dad and I drove home.

I’ve been missing her so much since I’ve been home… It seems empty here without her, I can’t help but wish she was still here and would walk into the room any second. She’s in the air flying to Atlanta right now though…

Soon after I got home I had to go to choose a Christmas tree with my father and cut it down… I think we chose a nice one. I’ll be sure to take some photos of it to share.

When we returned here my cousins and aunt had arrived. Frank and Melany, Loucille, Kailey, Shane, Victoria and Coltan are all here under one roof. That makes a total of 11 people!

It was kinda nice to see everyone again after about a year of not seeing my New Brunswick kin, but I’m too filled with melancholy to really enjoy today.

I miss Ashley far too much, but I love her far more.
